Don’s String Shop is proud to have been voted BEST NEW BUSINESS OF SLO COUNTY RUNNER-UP. We thank the voters who participated in New Times Best Of and consider this quite an honor.

Started by the late Don Young, founder of National Reso-Phonic Guitars, Don’s String Shop was a labor of love for both Don and his wife, Hilary. We enjoy the continued support of our Central Coast communities and will continue to provide a great go-to spot for both musicians and music lovers. We are the ONLY String Shop open just one day a week: Saturdays from 12:00 to 6:00 PM with evening appointments available on Thursdays and Fridays after 5:30 PM.
